Aledmys Diaz In Astros Lineup For Game 2
2 years agoHouston Astros utility man Aledmys Diaz is in the starting lineup on Saturday, batting seventh and playing left field in Game 2 of the World Series. Outside of Yordan Alvarez, the Astros have struggled to find a capable designated hitter this postseason, which might have something to do with why manager Dusty Baker keeps changing around the lineup. On Saturday, he has Alvarez back in the DH spot, which shifts Trey Mancini out of the lineup for a more capable defender in Diaz. The 32-year-old is just 1-for-15 with a double, two strikeouts and no walks this postseason, but he does provide a decent option defensively. If he can get rolling with the bat, he should be able to take over the left field job for this series.
