Alec Burks Headed Back To Knicks
11 months agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Alec Burks is heading back to the New York Knicks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Burks and Bojan Bogdanovic are being sent to New York in return for Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, Malachi Flynn, and two second-round picks. Burks played two seasons with the Knicks prior to this deal in 2020-21 and 2021-22. He joined the Pistons via trade and is now right back where he started. Over the last season and a half with Detroit, Burks averaged 12.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.1 made threes, and 1.0 turnovers per game. He's not an automatic addition in fantasy leagues right now because the Knicks have a few forwards and guards ahead of him. He could become a solid streaming option, though, while some of their key players are hurt.
