Albert Pujols Blasts Two Homers, Ties Ken Griffey Jr.
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman and designated hitter Albert Pujols hit two homers Thursday and tied Ken Griffey Jr. for sixth on the all-time home run list. They are tied with 630 homers. Pujols will need 30 more to catch the next player on the list, Willy Mays, who has 660 homers. Pujols has 16 homers on the season, but is batting .245 this year. He is the 35th ranked first baseman.
