The Chicago Cubs have demoted outfielder Albert Almora Jr. to Triple-A Iowa. Almora is known for his stellar defense, but has struggled at the plate this year. Almora has hit .243 with 12 home runs and 32 RBI. It’s unknown how long the Cubs plan to keep him down, but he should be up when rosters expand at the latest.
