In Thursday's 125-108 win over the Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers forward Al Horford had his best scoring night since Jan. 20. The 33-year old tied his season-high with 36 minutes of action and was able to put together 18 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and two made three-pointers. Horford is averaging 13.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and six assists in the four games since Joel Embiid went down with a shoulder sprain. The all-around production has turned Horford into a top-45 overall player in the last seven days, and it couldn't have come at a better time for the owners that held on to him all season. Horford will look to continue his recent statistical surge against the Warriors on Saturday night, but it is possible that Embiid returns for the primetime matchup.--Euan Leith

Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford has been confirmed as Jayson Tatum's (wrist) replacement in the starting lineup for Game 2 against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. He is joining the first unit for the 43rd time this term. During the regular season, Horford averaged 9.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in a starting role. Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (knee) won't play on Tuesday versus the Knicks. Horford got the start in Sunday's win over the Washington Wizards, amassing an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) questionable, Horford would have been in line to remain in the starting lineup. He has been dealing with a left big toe sprain for a while and will need some time off to manage the lingering injury. Boston's frontcourt will also be without Kristaps Porzingis (illness), leaving Luke Kornet, Neemias Queta, and Xavier Tillman Sr. as the only options at center.
