11 months agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors as he gets a rest day for the second game of a back-to-back. The 37-year-old hasn't been playing both games of back-to-backs to make sure he's as fresh as can be come playoff time. For Friday's game, the issue is that four of the starting five could also be out along with him. Since Kristaps Porzingis (calf) is listed as doubtful, Neemias Queta will probably move into the starting five while Luke Kornet will see a bigger chunk of minutes off of the bench.
