Akil Baddoo's Legend Continues To Grow
4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo, who homered on the first pitch of his career and hit a grand slam the previous two days, had a game-winning, 10th-inning walk-off single against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday. He became the first Tigers player to hit home runs in his first two Major League games, and on Tuesday he became the first Tigers player with a walk-off hit within his first three games since 1998. The 22-year-old was a former second-round pick of the Twins and has two home runs and six RBI in his first eight major league at-bats. Baddoo is one to keep an eye on in dynasty/keeper leagues, but he'll need to earn consistent playing time in Detroit to become worthy of adding in single-season leagues.
