4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo had a solid day at the plate on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Baddoo went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI. He's cooled off after a red hot start to his season and his career, but his numbers still look fantastic overall. Through 14 games, he's slashing .295/.304/.750 with four home runs, four doubles and 13 RBI. His plate discipline is certainly a concern as he has a 38.1% strikeout rate and a 2.4% walk rate, but if he can maintain something close to his current 16% barrel rate and 44% hard-hit rate, he may produce enough power to overcome the high strikeouts and lack of walks. He's seeing semi-regular playing time right now and should be rostered in all five-outfielder leagues, all deep leagues and all AL-only leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
