Akil Baddoo Breaks Homer Drought On Monday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo put an end to a long home run drought in Monday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Baddoo went 1-for-3 in the game and hit a solo home run in the seventh inning. It was his fifth home run of the year, but his first since April 13. He was in the lineup more often than not throughout May, but wasn't able to build off of his strong start to the year. We'll see if Monday's home run can get him going again. For now, he's safe to leave on waivers in all leagues.
