AJ McCarron Being Outplayed By Nathan Peterman
6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback AJ McCarron was outplayed by Nathan Peterman during minicamp practice Wednesday with the first-team offense. McCarron had several passes batted down at the line of scrimmage and had troubles connecting with his receivers. Peterman, on the other hand, was solid with his reads and accuracy. Peterman has been the top guy so far in the five practices open to the media. Rookie Josh Allen has seen some work with the first unit, too, but Buffalo is bringing him along slowly. A lot can change between now and training camp, but this battle figures to go down to the wire, and we can't completely rule out Allen, either. Allen obviously has the most long-term upside, but no Buffalo quarterback will be particularly intriguing in redraft leagues this year.
