Alonzo Menifield Finally Set For Action
4 years agoAlonzo Menifield (9-1) will look to rebound from his first professional loss as he battles the veteran Ovince St. Preux. The two were set to face off a few weeks ago, but St. Preux failed a COVID-19 test, pushing back the bout. Menifield came into the UFC on fire, winning his first two bouts by first-round knockout. In his last outing in June, he dropped a decision to Devin Clark. He averages 3.60 significant strikes per minute, with 84% of those occurring in the standup or clinch. Menifield also has a solid 85% takedown-defense rate, which will be put to the test against a strong submission artist in St. Preux. DraftKings has Menifield listed at $8,300 for Saturday night. So far, he has averaged 76.7 points per contest, which makes him a solid start in your lineups. The main concern for Menifield is his over-aggressiveness, which could lead to him being caught in one of those Von Flue chokes that St. Preux is known for.
