This had been a smash spot for rookie halfback D'Andre Swift (head), though a late entry to the league's concussion protocol ultimately had him ruled out for the contest. Kerryon Johnson will also factor into the backfield equation, making this a much less appealing situation for fantasy football. However, Peterson can be used as a flex this week against Carolina's bad run defense. The veteran back had some good fantasy weeks when he's received at least 10 carries this year, which is likely to happen on Sunday.--Tim Capurso
