Adrian Peterson Can't Get Going Against Falcons

Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson was held in check by the Falcons on Sunday, rushing nine times for 17 yards. It was an all-too-familiar picture for his fantasy owners, as the Redskins found themselves facing a sizable deficit early and could not rely on Peterson to set the tone. In any case, Peterson's fantasy potential at this point in the season is pretty cut-and-dry: he's going to be a workhorse running back when the Redskins have a lead, and he'll be a non-factor when they fall behind early. The former figures to be the case more often than not, as the 38 points allowed by Washington's defense on Sunday are an outlier.
