5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson is a healthy inactive for Week 1 against the Eagles. The Redskins are instead going with running back Wendell Smallwood, who also contributes on special teams. Peterson won't always be a healthy inactive in 2019, but it's not a good sign for the team's leading rusher a year ago. He'll likely only have fantasy appeal if Derrius Guice is banged up. Guice is an RB3/flex option without much upside in the season opener in a game where they're likely to be trailing. Chris Thompson should handle third-down work but is merely a dart throw in PPR leagues as an RB3/flex.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
