Adrian Morejon Lasts Four Frames In Start
4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Adrian Morejon took a no-decision after allowing two earned runs in four innings Monday against the San Francisco Giants. The 22-year-old threw 64 pitches, surrendering five hits and a walk while striking out a pair. Morejon's two costly mistakes resulted in a couple of solo homers that accounted for his runs. Despite seven of 15 career appearances coming as starts, Monday was Morejon's longest outing. While his long-term role is uncertain, Morejon is expected to stick in the rotation until starter Dinelson Lamet (biceps) returns. With his ability to toss five frames a serious question mark, Morejon is not a DFS target this Sunday against the Texas Rangers.
