2 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Adrian Morejon (elbow) was pulled out early during Sunday's game due to elbow discomfort. Luckily, the MRI came back clean, so it appears Morejon isn't dealing with anything too serious. The team is going to treat him for inflammation and create a timetable for him to resume throwing again. There's a decent chance that Morejon opens the season on the injured list. However, it doesn't sound like a long term issue, so the team got lucky there.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
