Adrian Kempe Continues Hot Stretch Against Canucks
12 months agoLos Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe maintained top form in Saturday's 6-3 win over Vancouver, posting two goals and an assist. He had a pair of early power-play points and completed the scoring with a short-handed tally. Kempe is riding a five-game point streak, and this marks his fifth multi-point outing in 10 games. He's reached the 70-point plateau for the first time in his career, with 27 goals and 44 assists through 72 games. The Kings have a very favorable schedule to finish off the campaign, so Kempe should get a further boost to his points total across the final few games.

Adrian Kempe Enjoys Another Multi-Point Outing
5 months agoLos Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe led the offense in Monday's 3-0 win over Nashville, registering a goal and an assist. He collected a helper in the first period when Anze Kopitar opened the scoring and lit the lamp himself late in the game with the Predators net empty. Kempe logged his third multi-point outing in five games. He has managed five such efforts across the entire campaign, amassing 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 13 outings. However, Kempe has landed on the score sheet in back-to-back games just once in 2024-25, so he's not been very consistent with his work.

Adrian Kempe Keeps Postseason Scoring Streak Going
11 months agoLos Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe had a team-high two points in Monday's playoff opener against the Oilers, logging a goal and an assist in a 7-4 defeat. He bagged the team's second goal late in the second period and assisted Pierre-Luc Dubois on the Kings' third with three minutes left in regulation. Kempe now boasts a seven-game postseason scoring streak. He totaled five goals and three assists in six meetings with Edmonton in last year's opening round. Kempe also had six points (two goals, four assists) in seven games against Edmonton in the playoffs two seasons ago, so this is a matchup that suits him very well.

Adrian Kempe A Game-Time Call Saturday
1 year agoLos Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's contest against Dallas. He could be back in action after missing five games with an upper-body issue. Kings head coach Jim Hiller has mentioned Kempe as "definitely a possibility" for the game. Getting him back would be a massive boost for the Kings, as Kempe has been enjoying a superb campaign. He's among the team's leading scorers, with 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) produced across 57 outings. Kempe's return will likely spell the end of Alex Turcotte's stint on the first line.

Adrian Kempe Considered Week-To-Week
1 year agoLos Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe (upper body) is considered week-to-week, according to TSN's Darren Dreger. He is expected to return sometime in March. Kempe missed a second consecutive game on Thursday versus Vancouver. The Swedish forward is among the team's top scorers with 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) in 57 games. Following Kempe's injury, Anze Kopitar has been paired with Quinton Byfield and Alex Turcotte on the top line. Both Kopitar and Byfield had two-point outings on Thursday. Turcotte has seen very limited action during the season and sits on just three points (one goal, two assists) in 11 outings, and he might not stick on the line for too long if he doesn't get going.
