1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers right-hander Adrian Houser will return to the starting rotation and make the start on Thursday against the New York Mets. Left-hander Wade Miley will toe the rubber on Wednesday. Houser's last two appearances have been out of the bullpen for the Brewers, but he's also made seven starts for the Brew Crew in 2023. Overall, the 30-year-old has a 4.02 ERA (3.96 FIP), 1.54 WHIP, 13 walks and 25 strikeouts in 40 1/3 innings pitched. He has allowed 18 runs (17 earned) on 44 hits (two homers) while walking 11 and striking out 23 in 35 1/3 innings in his seven starts, and he'll be facing a Mets team that has been extremely disappointing in all aspects of the game so far in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
