2 years agoNew York Giants cornerback Adoree Jackson (knee) is expected to miss three to five weeks after suffering an MCL sprain in their game against the Lions on Sunday. The 27-year-old was returning a punt when the injury occurred, which is a big blow to the Giants defense. He has been one of their better players on that side of the ball, forcing one fumble and recovering two fumbles with 40 solo tackles and 11 assisted tackles. He also ranks 23rd at the position, according to Pro Football Focus. His absence will make it easier for opposing receivers, including CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, who they play on against Thursday.
