3 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman (triceps) has yet to appear in a game this spring due to a strained right triceps muscle. However, he has been ramping up his baseball activities lately, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports. He has begun hitting off of a tee from both sides of the plate and he's been going through some light throwing drills as well. The injury, which Rutschman suffered in mid-March, essentially made it all but a sure thing that we wouldn't see the highly-touted prospect in the majors by Opening Day. The team will likely exhibit caution with him. While there's a good chance we see him make his MLB debut this year, it may not be for another few months or more.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
