5 years agoThe Atlanta Braves agreed to a deal with shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria on Friday, according to a source. In corresponding moves, the Braves are optioning infielder Johan Camargo and outfielder Adam Duvall and recalling pitcher Bryse Wilson from Triple-A Gwinnett. With Dansby Swanson (foot) missing 22 games with a right foot contusion and no timetable for a return, Hechavarria will should see frequent playing time at shortstop, but he was hitting a weak .204/.252/.359 with five home runs and 18 RBI in 60 games for the Mets this season. He's probably only worth a roster spot for those in need of middle infield help in NL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
