6 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Addison Reed's (elbow) MRI exam showed an elbow impingement, according to manager Paul Molitor. Reed's poor results in 2018 may be attributed to his elbow injury, but it's hard to say. He hasn't panned out as a potential closer for the Twins, and incumbent closer Fernando Rodney has been good enough to keep the role. Reed has a 4.83 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and just 8.1 strikeouts per nine innings this year. He can be dropped in most leagues now if he wasn't already.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
