5 years agoChicago Cubs rookie pitcher Adbert Alzolay will start on Monday against the Pirates on the road. It'll be the 24-year-old right-hander's second major league start after he allowed just a run on a solo homer in 4 2/3 innings against the Braves in his first start on June 25. He has a nice 2.08 ERA 0.92 WHIP and nine strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings, but he's also walked six. Alzolay could be here to stay in Chicago's rotation if he has another good outing on Monday. It's a decent matchup, too, so he'll be on the streaming radar in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
