6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright struggled through three innings on Friday, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and three walks. He struck out three and needed 86 pitches to get nine outs. It was a struggle for the veteran throughout, as his ERA rose to 4.74. He's shown that he still has "it" in earlier starts, but he's likely to remain inconsistent and isn't a great fantasy option in most formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
