Adam Wainwright Misses a Quality Start by One Out
5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright missed a quality start by just one out on Tuesday in a game the Cardinals would eventually win. Wainwright tossed 5 2/3 innings, allowing one run on five hits and three walks. He struck out five and threw 95 pitches, lowering his ERA to 4.47. Wainwright has been a decent depth rotation piece and has some legitimate value in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues.
