Adam Wainwright Crafts A Quality Start On Thursday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright put together a quality start despite taking a loss in Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Wainwright pitched seven innings, allowing three runs while scattering eight hits and striking out four. He did not allow a walk in the game. With the Cardinals only able to score two runs on offense, Wainwright ended up with the loss, dropping his record to 3-5 on the season. He's sporting a decent 4.19 ERA though, and is always a solid bet to go deep into any game he starts.
