Adam Trautman The Saints Projected No. 1 Tight End
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Adam Trautman is the team's projected No. 1 tight end as both a pass-catcher and standout blocker after the Saints parted ways with veteran Jared Cook and Josh Hill this offseason. The second-year pro said he has grown after a strong finish to last season in his first true NFL offseason. Trautman was a third-round pick in 2020 and finished with just 15 catches (16 targets) for 171 yards and one touchdown in 15 games (six starts). The 24-year-old is a nice sleeper target who could break out with an expanded role in 2021. He'd probably benefit more if Jameis Winston wins the starting job over Taysom Hill, but either way, we know that Trautman will have a big opportunity in front of him.
