Adam Scott Looks To Bounce Back At TPC Sawgrass
9 months agoAdam Scott was a huge letdown for fantasy managers last week. The Australian veteran was a highly-touted option heading into the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the heels of seven-straight top-20 finishes, but failed to make the cut at the challenging Bay Hill. That performance will likely keep Scott's ownership low, and fantasy managers may want to consider capitalizing on that leverage. He hasn't missed consecutive cuts in over ten years and still profiles as a solid course fit for TPC Sawgrass. Over the last 24 rounds, Scott ranks 29th off-the-tee and 14th on approach, and he's capable of spiking on the greens any given week. He also has a solid track record on difficult courses, and despite below-average results at The Players in recent years, he did rattle off finishes of T12, T6, T11 and T12 between 2016 and 2019 when the tournament was played in May. Scott should be expected bounce back this week, and fantasy managers choosing to roster him at low ownership could be handsomely rewarded come Sunday.
