Adam Plutko Earns First Save Of Season Monday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles relief pitcher Adam Plutko picked up his first save of the season in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros. Plutko entered the game in the ninth inning up by three with one out and runners on first and second. He issued a walk to load the bases, then allowed a sac fly to make the game 9-7, but got a fly out to end the game. Plutko has not seen many save opportunities this season and owns a 5.45 ERA, so it is unlikely that he will start seeing more high-leverage situations. As such, his fantasy value remains very limited.
