2 years agoNew York Mets reliever Adam Ottavino came into Monday's contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the ninth inning with a two-run lead and proceeded to shut them down without allowing a baserunner. He recorded his second save of the year and now owns a 1.29 ERA, 29.6% strikeout rate, and 1.14 WHIP over seven frames. David Robertson is the presumed closer for the club, but after pitching back-to-back days, they were likely giving him a rest. Fantasy managers should expect Ottavino to pick up a handful of saves this season, and considering he has a pair already, a solid amount of holds.
