10 months agoAdam Hadwin needs a boost off the tee to do well at The American Express. Why? The Canadian golfer is average with his driver at best. Again, the golf courses at La Quinta favor some longer drives which put golfers in position for easy birdie opportunities. Yes, this tournament projects a winner to be in the -20 to -25 range. Barring something unforeseen, Hadwin will need all four rounds in the 60's again like last year. The difference is he will need a few more birdie chances which he missed out on.
