Adam Hadwin lost in a playoff earlier in July at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Since then, the Canadian golfer has seen his fortunes reverse. He missed cuts both at the John Deere Classic and 3M Open. Worse, Hadwin could not seem to make putts when it counted. That dropped him from inside the top 20 to 30th on tour at 0.438 strokes gained. Also, he has more problems off the tee where he ranks 115th. Hadwin only hits the ball 294.8 yards off the tee. His accuracy should be greater than 64%. If he does not stay on the fairways, the par-70 Sedgefield Country Club course will be a challenge. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

It wasn't a good run in Florida for Adam Hadwin, as he missed the cut at both The Players and Valspar Championships and was the center of attention on X last week for busting a sprinkler head in frustration. It's easy to see why, as the Canadian averaged -1.41 strokes gained on approach during the two days. It was the third event in his last four starts losing strokes with the irons, and driving the ball has been even worse, with an average of -0.577 over his last four starts. For someone with a decent course history at Memorial Park, it will be interesting to see if he can change with the tide as the PGA Tour rolls into Houston. However, he isn't worth the risk of playing him in most DFS circumstances.--Todd McGill - RotoBaller

After missing the cut at The PLAYERS Championship this past week, Adam Hadwin is looking to bounce back at this week's Valspar Championship. Hadwin has been relatively inconsistent in 2025, with three missed cuts and only one top-10 finish. However, he has an excellent track record at this event. He won back in 2017 and has three top-15 finishes. His game suits Copperhead well with his accuracy off the tee and a stellar short game around the green, where he ranks 80th and 53rd on Tour. Hadwin is a prime bounce-back candidate and is worth a flyer this week. --Jake Walker - RotoBaller

Adam Hadwin is playing in this week's Shriners Children's Open at TPC Summerlin. Although he had a tough finish to the 2024 regular season, he managed to finish 47th in the final regular season FedEx Cup standings. Hadwin has a good track record at the Shriners Children's Open. Apart from his second-place finish last season, he also finished tied for sixth in 2022 and T34 in 2021. Notably, over the past 12 months, Hadwin ranks in the 36th percentile in greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 100-150 yards in the fairway. This is important to consider because over 34% of approach shots at last year's Shriners Children's Open came from this distance. Given Hadwin's past performance at this event, he could be a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

Adam Hadwin seems to have a really good performance every few tournaments. The Canadian golfer has four Top 10 results this season but no wins. The 7,538 yard Quail Hollow course sets up well for Hadwin. However, the Par-71 offers up its own set of twists and turns. Look at some of the winning scores the past few years. A 265 won last year but the five previous editions saw worse numbers. Hadwin carries very average metrics going into the Wells Fargo Championship but he is Top 30 in putts per round and one-putt percentage. If he can get shots close, he could be an interesting DFS pick. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
