Adam Eaton To Hit Leadoff For Nats
6 years agoWashington Nationals manager Dave Martinez announced on Monday that outfielder Adam Eaton will serve as the club's leadoff hitter this year, with shortstop Trea Turner hitting second. Turner is the more prolific base stealer, but Eaton has a better on-base percentage over the last two seasons (.394). Martinez also confirmed that outfielder Victor Robles will begin the season in the ninth spot, which limits his fantasy upside, especially in DFS. Eaton hasn't played in 100 games in either of his two seasons in D.C., but he can be a sleeper at the top of Washington's lineup if he stays healthy, mainly for his on-base skills, runs and stolen bases.
