Adam Eaton Out Of Lineup, Trea Turner Leading Off
7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton is sitting out the Monday contest versus the Braves. Shortstop Trea Turner will bat leadoff in his place. Howie Kendrick is back in the lineup, taking Eaton's spot in left field and batting fifth. Infielder Wilmer Difo will start at second base. The Braves are likely breathing a sigh of relief that Eaton, who has been on fire, isn't starting. He's still being eased into action due to his knee injury from last season, but not that you could tell from his performance over the weekend. He was named the National League Player of the Week on Monday after batting .615 with a 1.231 OPS while scoring seven runs and knocking in five RBI in just three games.
