Adam Eaton Headed To DL
7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (ankle) is likely headed to the disabled list with a bone bruise in his ankle. The injury is on the same leg that kept him out of action for most of 2017. He was a late scratch from Tuesday's game and outfielder Moises Sierra will be called up to take Eaton's place on the roster. Eaton was off to a blistering start before his injury, which is exactly how his season started last year. His health has always been an issue. In his seven-year career, he's only played more than 124 games twice. There's no word yet on how long the injury will keep him out, but Brian Goodwin will likely take his place in the outfield.
