Aaron Wise Must Putt Well To Bounce Back At John Deere Classic
When Aaron Wise even putts pretty good, he can contend. See The Memorial where he wound up tied for ninth. At the PGA, he got on a roll that Sunday, shot a 68, and wound up in the top-20. Then, there was the Travelers where nothing would drop. He made the cut after a 65 then followed up with a 71-71. That is not exactly a hot stretch. He finished at just even-par (18 strokes off the lead). He has not shot better than -10 at any tournament since last December. Wise has such a nice overall game where he would easily be a top-20 or top-30 golfer if he could putt even average. He ranks 190th in putting on the tour. Buyer beware.
