Aaron Sanchez Expected To Make Next Start
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez is expected to make his next start after leaving Sunday's game after four innings with a broken nail on his right middle finger. Sanchez threw just 59 pitches against the A's and said his finger had been bothering him during his prior outing on Tuesday. He had allowed one earned run while walking three and striking out two in a no-decision against Oakland. The right-hander has a nice 2.77 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 23 strikeouts in 26 innings over his five starts. If he can avoid landing on the injured list this year, Sanchez should be able to bounce back and be relevant in most mixed leagues.
