Aaron Rodgers Throws Two Touchdowns During Loss In London
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 25-of-39 passes, throwing for 222 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 27-22 loss to the New York Giants. The reigning MVP was on track to have a solid fantasy performance by the end of the first half, completing 18-of-24 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns. However, New York held the 38-year-old to just seven completions for 70 yards in the second half, swatting away both pass attempts toward the end zone late in the fourth quarter as Green Bay attempted to tie the game. It was an ugly loss, but moving forward, Rodgers has three games over the next month where he could exceed expectations compared to what he has done so far this season. The New York Jets are up next on the schedule, and with the game being in Lambeau, Rodgers should be considered a back-end QB1 for fantasy purposes.
