Aaron Rodgers May Not Play In Preseason
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that it's not necessary that quarterback Aaron Rodgers play in the preseason. The veteran quarterback was scheduled to get some action in on Thursday against the Ravens, but the team decided to err on the side of caution and hold Rodgers out due to a tight back. "I think we'd like to see him, but you're talking about a veteran quarterback that's played a lot of football," LaFleur said following the Packers' 26-13 defeat to the Ravens. "I don't think it's a necessity, but it's certainly something that we'd like to see." Rodgers has played in just six preseason games in the last four years. With a new offense and some talent at the receiver position to work with, Rodgers could bounce back in 2019. He's RotoBaller's No. 3 fantasy QB.
