Aaron Rodgers Active
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) is active for Week 2 against the Vikings. "He has a pretty unusual injury that would keep most people out awhile," one source told ESPN. Rodgers was told this week that his left knee injury could take up to a couple of months to heal, but he doesn't have any ligament damage. The injury is more of a "compression injury from blunt force while bent." "He shouldn't have played last week and shouldn't play now, but he likely will," one source said. "There will certainly be a short leash, like there was last week, but we saw what happened." Rodgers is clearly less than 100 percent in a very tough matchup, making it not worth spending up for him in DFS. He should still be trotted out there in single-year leagues, but temper your expectations. The Packers will have Deshone Kizer and Tim Boyle active on Sunday as well.
