Aaron Loup Being Placed On Injured List
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels reliever Aaron Loup is set to land on the injured list with a hamstring injury. The veteran southpaw said he injured his hamstring covering third base on a Paul Goldschmidt double in Thursday's series finale in St. Louis against the Cardinals. It's been a tough go for one of the game's more reliable lefty relievers over the last decade as Loup owns a 7.00 ERA through his first 11 appearances of the season. However, he also sports a 3.92 FIP while his .412 BABIP is sure to come back to earth in a hurry. Walks have been a key issue with an uncharacteristic 10.2% BB%, another figure that will surely shrink considering his 7.3% career mark.
