Aaron Jones Looks To Put Bad Stretch Behind Him In Week 7
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will go on the road to face the Washington Commanders Sunday. Since finishing as the RB4 overall in Week 2, the 27-year-old has had a bad four-week stretch for fantasy purposes. Jones is the RB29 overall over the past month and has averaged only eight fantasy points per game. The poor performances can be chalked up to failing to find the end zone, as he has a total of 4.6 yards per carry during this time. The matchup with Washington is a potential bounce-back spot for the fifth-year back. The Commanders allow the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs and are tied for the most receiving touchdowns allowed to the position. Wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) will miss this game, leaving the Packers thin on pass-catching talent. It could lead to an increased target volume for Jones, and this is the perfect matchup for him to exploit. He should be considered a high-end RB2 in Week 7.
