Aaron Jones Gains 115 Total Yards During Victory
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones took 16 carries for 110 yards and added three receptions on four targets for five yards during the team's 27-24 overtime victory over the New England Patriots. The 27-year-old was again out-carried by teammate AJ Dillon but was the far more explosive back. Jones being kept fresh has helped keep his yards per average carry stay as high as it is at 6.8. However, the sixth-year back has not been uber productive in the passing game as many had hoped during the preseason. Jones should be able to produce at a higher rate for fantasy managers with a favorable schedule coming up over the next month. The Packers will travel to London to face the New York Giants next week, and Jones should be considered a fringe RB1 in that matchup.
