Aaron Hicks Sitting Wednesday
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is getting the day off Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. This is a routine day off for Hicks, who will be available off the bench. It's been a slow start for the 29-year-old, who has hit just .224 with two home runs and has been striking out at a career-high 26.5 percent since his return from the injured list. He currently only carries value in deeper leagues as a result. Brett Gardner will slide in at center and bat seventh while Cameron Maybin will man left and bat ninth against Blue Jays right-hander Trent Thornton. Both Gardner and Maybin have struggled this season and can be ignored in most DFS contests.
