Aaron Hicks Eyeing April 4 Return
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks said his lower back is feeling "much better" after he received two cortisone shots in six days. He has been diagnosed with chronic back pain, which has kept him out of spring action since March 1. Hicks said he isn't feeling any pain, but the real test will come when he resumes baseball activities. He's been told the issue is muscular in nature, and he's aiming to come off the injured list when he's eligible on April 4. Injuries are a real risk for Hicks, but his power in a loaded lineup is still worth snagging in the middle rounds of mixed leagues.
