6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (back) did tee and soft-toss work on Tuesday and also ran and threw on the field. He's expected to take batting practice either Wednesday or Thursday. Hicks, who has always been a slow healer, is making strides as he tries to make his season debut. He might not return until sometime next month, but Hicks should be owned in all formats for his mix of speed and power as the Yankees starting center fielder when he's healthy. Brett Gardner will go back to platoon work in the outfield whenever Hicks is ready.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
