Aaron Hicks' Big Hit Leads To Victory
Corey Kluber was still on the mound when Aaron Hicks stepped up with one on in the eighth. The 28-year-old would put on a terrific plate appearance, fouling off numerous pitches before drilling a go-ahead RBI double to deep center. While his lone hit of the game, Hicks continues to grow as a full-time starter, hitting .283 across his last 15 games and already having broken his personal best for home runs in a season. At this pace, he’ll finish somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 home runs and 75 RBI, a solid fantasy season for those who gave him a chance.
