3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell confirmed that left-hander Aaron Ashby will start on Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs. The 23-year-old will be making his MLB debut against Chicago, but this will be a bullpen game and Ashby isn't expected to go deep into this ballgame. Therefore, fantasy managers shouldn't be looking his way when filling out lineups. He has some intriguing swing-and-miss stuff -- 56 strikeouts in 38 innings at Triple-A this year -- but he's also walked 24 hitters. Ashby started out the season strong as a starter in the minors but was moved to relief to expedite a trip to the majors. The Brewers still view their No. 7 prospect as a starter in the long term, but he'll work out of the bullpen in his first stint in the Show.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
