6 years agoWith Atlanta Braves closer Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) on the disabled list, it was A.J. Minter pitching the ninth inning in their 7-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles Sunday. It was not a save situation. Dan Winkler pitched the eighth inning. Neither pitcher surrendered a walk or hit. Minter and Winkler are expected to share the closing duties but if Sunday is a sign of things to come, Minter will get most of the save chances. Both are worth adds in fantasy leagues, but the left-hander Minter has to be the best bet to pitch the ninth inning right now.--RJ Stacey
