6 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher A.J. Minter has been optioned to Triple-A on Friday. Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) is out for the season, so Minter was expected to take over in the closer role. However, Minter posted a 9.82 ERA with nine walks in 11 innings of work with the Braves. Luke Jackson should get some chances at closer in Atlanta. Jonny Venters (calf) was activated off the 10-day injured list on Friday. He might get saves chances as well, but Jackson seems like the better fantasy bet.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
